Home > Inline hoppers
The Poggi TM inline hoppers are designed to ensure efficient and consistent handling of bulk materials such as sand, gravel, lightweight aggregates, and premixes. Their linear configuration allows regular and controlled feeding toward belt conveyors, screw conveyors, or dosing systems, ensuring flow continuity even in plants with intensive production cycles.
Thanks to their solid structure and design optimized for uniform material flow, TM industrial hoppers are particularly suitable for installations with limited space or compact layouts, where efficiency must be maximized without compromising operational capacity. In many configurations, the TM Series operates as loading hoppers, ensuring regular feeding toward belt conveyors, screw conveyors, and dosing systems. The quality of materials and the robustness of the steel structures ensure long service life and stability even under frequent use.
Manufactured in hot-dip galvanized or painted steel, TM hoppers guarantee corrosion resistance and long-term reliability, maintaining consistent performance across various industrial environments. They are available in different configurations and sizes, allowing easy integration into both existing systems and new installations.
The TM inline hopper represents a strategic solution for controlled bulk material handling in construction, precast, recycling, and all applications where operational continuity, mechanical strength, and versatility are required. Thanks to their capacity and structural robustness, TM hoppers are also particularly suitable for aggregate storage, acting as an intermediate or central accumulation point within production processes.

Different types of internal linings can be applied, selected according to the nature of the material to be stored.
These linings serve a dual purpose: they protect internal surfaces from wear, abrasion, or corrosion, while also facilitating material flow toward the outlet by reducing friction and buildup.
The correct selection helps optimize operational efficiency and extend the service life of the hopper.
Available in a discharge configuration with direct contact onto a supporting conveyor belt, without the use of outlets or closing devices.
The material remains constantly in contact with the belt, ensuring continuous and consistent discharge during plant operation.
This solution is ideal for applications requiring a steady, non-modulated flow, simplifies the mechanical structure of the system, and reduces the need for additional discharge control components.
Prepared for the controlled addition of flocculants.
The addition of flocculants, through dosing systems that can be integrated on request, improves separation efficiency by promoting the aggregation of fine particles and accelerating sedimentation.
This solution is particularly effective with light sludges or low-density suspensions, optimizing emptying and residue management.
Available in a configuration without direct contact on the belt, the material is discharged through extraction outlets positioned above the conveyor belt.
The product falls by gravity, ensuring a controlled flow that can be distributed at multiple points along the line.
To prevent the formation of bridges, arches, or buildup inside the hoppers, vibrators or knocker hammers can be installed, available in pneumatic or electric versions.
These devices ensure a regular material flow, improving discharge efficiency even with particularly wet, compact, or adhesive products.
Vibrators operate with continuous or intermittent action, while hammers deliver targeted impacts to remove localized buildup.
Both solutions can be customized according to the type of material, hopper geometry, and process requirements.
DISCHARGE SYSTEM
Material is discharged by gravity through bottom openings designed to ensure a constant flow toward screw conveyors, belt conveyors, or other handling systems. The outlets can be equipped with manual or pneumatic valves, or with custom connections for integration into automated lines.
VIBRATION SYSTEMS
To ensure uniform discharge, even with wet materials or light aggregates, electric vibrators or selective vibration systems can be integrated. These devices reduce the risk of blockages, improve operational continuity, and accelerate complete hopper emptying.
TIMED DOSING
Hoppers can be connected to timed dosing systems, particularly suitable for continuous production where flow consistency is more important than absolute precision. The discharged volume is calculated based on time and the nominal capacity of the extraction system, providing a simple, cost-effective, and efficient solution for homogeneous materials and repetitive cycles.
ELECTRONIC DOSING WITH LOAD CELLS
Hoppers can be equipped with dosing systems using load cells and an extractor belt, enabling precise and continuous control of material flow. This configuration ensures dosing uniformity and consistent management of discharged quantities, guaranteeing reliability and regularity in the production process.
AUTOMATION AND SMART FUNCTIONS
The system can be programmed to automatically activate auxiliary devices, such as vibrators based on detected weight or predefined thresholds. This logic improves flow regularity and reduces plant downtime.
REMOTE MANAGEMENT AND TRACEABILITY
Hoppers can be equipped with digital interfaces for remote control, real-time monitoring of operational data, and automatic report generation. This configuration facilitates integration with automated systems and Industry 4.0 platforms, ensuring full operational visibility.
MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONAL ACCESS
TM and TMP Series hoppers are designed to ensure easy access to internal components, facilitating inspection, cleaning, and routine maintenance. The streamlined structure allows for quick interventions, reducing downtime and optimizing operational continuity.
COMPONENT MODULARITY
Wear components are easily replaceable thanks to the modular structure. This feature simplifies scheduled maintenance and helps extend the service life of the system while maintaining high performance over time.
A complete range of accessories and optionals to customize each product.
Measurement, filtration, safety, extraction, and control systems allow silo products to be tailored to specific operational requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency and continuous operation.
