Poggi S.p.A. was founded in 1945, in a post-war Italy in the process of reconstruction. The company was established by brothers Alberto and Giuliano Poggi, driven by the desire to meet the needs of a rapidly transforming sector. In a small workshop in Tuscany, they began producing components for the storage and handling of bulk materials, laying the foundation for what would become an industrial benchmark both nationally and internationally.

Growth and Consolidation

During the years of the economic boom, the company expanded: new production departments were launched, and investments were made in machinery and expertise. It was during this period that Poggi developed a flexible industrial model, capable of combining craftsmanship and technological innovation while always keeping the client’s real needs at the center.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the company consolidated its position in the Italian market and established its first international collaborations. The concept of an organized structure based on production specializations emerged, taking shape in the following decades with the creation of multiple facilities dedicated to specific phases of manufacturing.

With the arrival of the new millennium, Poggi S.p.A. accelerated its innovation process, introducing numerically controlled machinery, laser cutting systems, and welding robots. These investments increased production capacity, improved efficiency, and ensured ever-higher quality standards.
