Dynamic flow, maximum efficiency, low maintenance
The Poggi dynamic clarifiers, also known as dynamic settlers, are the ideal solution for solid-liquid separation in high-intensity industrial plants where continuity, control, and high treatment capacity are required. Thanks to their mechanized operation and optimized design, they ensure rapid sedimentation and efficient sludge management.
Suitable for a wide range of applications, including inert washing plants, wastewater treatment, environmental recovery, by-product recycling, and biomass industry, Poggi dynamic clarifiers integrate easily into new or existing lines, ensuring plant flexibility and long-term high performance.
The clarifiers can be made from various materials and are designed to withstand harsh conditions and intensive operating cycles. The dynamic system promotes continuous solid separation, while dedicated outlets for clarified water and sludge allow precise flow management.
Integration with extraction systems and digital control systems enables automated and customizable operation, even within complex plants or Industry 4.0 architectures. Optional features include valves, level sensors, anti-clogging systems, and remote management tools.
Thanks to Poggi’s expertise, dynamic clarifiers can be adapted to the client’s operational needs, with the possibility of expansion or modification over time.
Poggi Clarifiers, always the professional choice
Operation and Safety
Poggi dynamic clarifiers are designed for continuous solid-liquid separation through a mechanized process that accelerates the sedimentation of suspended solids. The incoming effluent is directed into the tank via a feed pipe that introduces the liquid at the bottom of the clarifier, promoting controlled filling and uniform flow distribution.
Inside the clarifier, rotating scrapers collect and convey the settled material toward the discharge point, ensuring uniform and continuous sedimentation. The system can be equipped for flocculant injection through integrated dosing points, which promote fine particle aggregation and improve separation speed.
Separated solids are discharged through a dedicated outlet and conveyed, for example, to sludge collection or dewatering systems. The clarified water, separated from the settled material, rises to the top and is collected via a perimeter overflow system connected to a discharge pipe for subsequent handling or reuse.
The dynamic system enables continuous and automated process management, reducing cycle times and increasing efficiency while maintaining a compact structure that can be easily integrated into existing production lines.
The lower part of the dynamic clarifier consists of a conical bottom, designed to promote the concentration and conveyance of solids toward the center. In this area, rotating scrapers operate to channel the settled material toward the discharge point, ensuring uniform and continuous collection.
The scrapers installed inside the clarifier are designed to adapt to the specific characteristics of the material to be treated. They can be customized in shape, geometry, and construction material (stainless steel, wear-resistant, coated, etc.) according to the density, particle size, and chemical nature of the effluent. This configurability allows for optimized performance and extended clarifier lifespan.
The gaskets, positioned at the junctions between the various panels that make up the clarifier, play a crucial role: they must withstand wear and provide protection against weather conditions. The materials selected by Poggi ensure long-lasting tightness, contributing to the overall stability and efficiency of the structure.
The separated water rises to the top of the clarifier, where it is collected by a perimeter overflow system and directed into the discharge pipe. This ensures continuous and controlled flow of the clarified liquid, ready for reuse or further treatmen.
ACTIVE SEPARATION SYSTEM
In Poggi dynamic clarifiers, the solid-liquid separation process is supported by active mechanical components that accelerate settling and improve treatment efficiency. The dynamic action promotes faster and more controlled sedimentation, even with high-density or variable sludge.
AUTOMATED DISCHARGE WITH PROGRAMMABLE CYCLE
Accumulated sludge is evacuated through an automatic discharge system located at the bottom of the clarifier. The emptying cycle can be controlled via timers, level sensors, or remote commands, ensuring operational flexibility and continuity in downstream processes.
INTEGRATION WITH DEWATERING SYSTEMS
The discharge is designed to connect directly to pumps, sludge silos, filter presses, or other treatment units. This facilitates automation of the entire process and optimizes by-product management, reducing manual workload.
CONNECTION TO EXTRACTION PUMPS
Poggi dynamic clarifiers can be equipped with dedicated connections for submersible or sludge transfer pumps, enabling direct flow to downstream treatment plants without interrupting the operational cycle.
OPERATIONAL SAFETY AND CONTROLLED FLOW
Check valves, level sensors, and integrated digital controls ensure continuous operation and safety even under intensive conditions, preventing blockages and clogging.
AUTOMATION AND DIGITAL INTERFACE
Poggi dynamic clarifiers can be equipped with level sensors, flow meters, and probes for sludge density detection. These devices enable real-time monitoring of process parameters, improving operational efficiency and maintenance planning.
UPPER FILTER
The clarifier can be connected to remote supervision systems (PLC) to automate discharge operations, regulate sedimentation cycles, and integrate operation with pumps, sludge silos, or filter presses. The digital interface also allows data storage and traceability of operations.
SAFE AND EFFICIENT MANUAL OPERATION
For contexts where automation is not a priority, the system can be configured with robust, easily accessible manual lever valves. This solution ensures the reliability of the dynamic clarifier even under intensive use, without requiring electronic components.
A complete range of accessories and options to customize each product. Measurement, filtration, safety, extraction, and control systems allow the silos to be adapted to specific operational requirements, ensuring maximum efficiency and continuous operation.
